Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Maund platform and the maund.io websites. Last updated: July 27, 2026.
1. Agreement to these terms
Maund is a software-as-a-service platform operated by Sinwise LLC (“Sinwise,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, accessing a Maund workspace, or using our websites, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and workspaces
Each customer receives one or more isolated Maund workspaces. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, for all activity that occurs under your account, and for ensuring the people you invite to your workspace comply with these terms. You must provide accurate account information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions, billing, and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly per workspace, with seat limits as described on our pricing page. Trial workspaces are provided for evaluation and may be limited in features, duration, or seats. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable advance notice; changes take effect at your next billing cycle. Failure to pay may result in suspension or downgrade of your workspace.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to the business data you and your team enter into Maund — inventory records, recipes, orders, and similar content (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the service. Each workspace’s data is isolated from other tenants. On termination, you may request an export of your Customer Data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- upload malicious code or attempt to probe, breach, or circumvent security or tenant isolation;
- access or attempt to access another customer’s workspace or data;
- resell, sublicense, or provide access to the service to third parties except your invited workspace users;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the service outside of documented APIs;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform.
6. Our intellectual property — no copying or cloning
The Maund platform — including its software, source code, user interface, visual design, layouts, workflows, screens, graphics, documentation, and branding — is and remains the exclusive property of Sinwise LLC and its licensors. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business operations. It does not transfer any ownership or design rights to you.
Except for reasonable internal uses (such as training your own team or documenting your own business records), you may not:
- screenshot, screen-record, photograph, or otherwise capture the Maund interface for the purpose of copying, reproducing, or imitating its design, screens, workflows, or functionality;
- use the service, or any captures or recordings of it, to design, build, train, or assist in building a competing or substantially similar product or service, whether yourself or through a third party;
- share screenshots, recordings, or detailed descriptions of non-public areas of the platform with competitors or with anyone developing competing software;
- copy, frame, or mirror any part of the service, or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- remove or obscure any proprietary notices within the service.
Accessing the service for competitive benchmarking or analysis on behalf of a competitor is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section and to pursue all available legal remedies.
7. Confidentiality
Non-public information you learn about the platform through your use of it — including unreleased features, security practices, and pricing offered to you privately — is our confidential information. You agree to protect it with reasonable care and not to disclose it except as required by law.
8. Service availability and changes
We work to keep Maund available and performant, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, add, or remove features (including gated features such as predictive planning), and we may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts availability. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Forecasts, predictions, and suggestions generated by the platform are informational aids only — you are responsible for your own business decisions, inventory, production, and regulatory compliance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sinwise LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Suspension and termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Account → Plans & Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these terms (including the intellectual-property and acceptable-use provisions above) or if required for security or legal reasons. Sections 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12 survive termination.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sinwise LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, together with any order form or separate written agreement between us, are the entire agreement regarding the service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify workspace admins by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
